Photographer Orsolya Haarberg has been associated with National Geographic magazine for many years. Today, she runs Fjellheimen Galleri, where she showcases her own photography and interior design products. She spent more than 300 days in the mountains creating the photographic material for this book.

Author Maria Hasselgård is an investigative journalist at NRK. The award‑winning journalist has a lifelong relationship with the mountains of Norway and Europe—as a hiker, skier, and cyclist. In this book, fact‑based revelations are replaced by meditative texts that leave room for the reader’s own interpretations.

The conversation will be led by adventurer Stein P. Aasheim, who wrote the book’s foreword. He is internationally known for his groundbreaking expeditions and was part of the first Norwegian ascent of Mount Everest. He has written numerous books about his own and others’ adventures, as well as about the mountains.
