About the book:
“This book is a visual encounter with the mountains, an attempt to unite the elements of nature through fine art photography and meditative texts. The photographer’s motifs are drawn from both familiar and lesser-known ranges across Norway. Mountains that have existed for millions of years yet still move and enrich people’s lives today. The words draw inspiration from the narrative in the themes of the photographs, observations of the writer and early Greek reflections on nature, bringing ancient perceptions of the world into our time and creating a dialogue between images and passages.” (Maria Hasselgård)
